PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented nylon film which is excellent in formability, strength and pin hole resistance as a main substrate for cold forming packaging materials and the like, to provide a laminated packaging material containing the same, and to provide a method for producing the biaxially oriented nylon film.;SOLUTION: This biaxially oriented nylon film comprises a virgin raw material comprising Ny6 and MXD6 and a heat history product produced by melt-kneading Ny6 with MXD6 and having a MXD6 melting point of 233 to 238°C as raw materials and is characterized in that the hot water shrinkage rate of the film is 3 to 20%; the breaking elongations of the film in four directions (MD direction, TD direction, 45°direction, 135°) in a tensile test is ≥70%; and a stress ratio A (σ1/σ2) of a tensile stressσ1 at an elongation of 50% to a tensile stressσ2 at yield point in a stress-strain curve in the tensile test of the film is ≥2 in each of the above-mentioned four directions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
