PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting base for an arranged body and its installation method by which the arranged body can be easily installed on a light-weight shape steel material so that the arranged body may not protrude from the light-weight shape steel material toward a wall surface while avoiding being an obstacle to the installation of a wall material.;SOLUTION: The mounting base 30 has a base body 31 formed to have a width in one direction that is smaller than the width of the light-weight shape steel material P. The base body 31 has a mounting projection 36 on the surface thereof, and has an abutting surface 33 abutting on a lip Pd of the light-weight shape steel material P on the other surface opposite to the surface. Further, the base body 31 has a projecting part 32 extending to intersect with the abutting surface 33 at right angles, and abutting on a side board Pc in a state that the abutting surface 33 abuts on the lip Pd.
