PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent enlargement of a contaminated region of contaminated soil, and variation of contamination concentration distribution of contaminant (uniformity of contamination concentration).;SOLUTION: The contaminated soil region 6 in ground having a bottom liner layer 58 is divided, in plan-view, into multiple concentration regions 6H, 6M, 6L, according to the difference of levels of contamination concentrations. Water shut-off walls 8 (8H, 8M, 8L) are formed surrounding the concentration regions 6H, 6M, 6L respectively and extended to the bottom liner layer 58 to prevent diffusion of contaminant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
