PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isotope gas separation method using a pressure swing adsorption process, the method achieving high separation and enrichment effect without needing a large-scale apparatus like in precedent arts.;SOLUTION: An isotope gas separation and enrichment method using the pressure swing adsorption process in an adsorption column packed with an isotope selective adsorbent is characterized in that: (a) at least one kind of isotope gas is adsorbed in the isotope selective adsorbent in the adsorption column from raw material gas containing several kinds of isotope gases, and other isotope gases are passed therethrough for recovering; (b) the other recovered isotope gases are returned to the raw material gas supply side; (c) then the isotope gas adsorbed in the isotope selective adsorbent is desorbed and regenerated by reducing the pressure of the adsorption column lower than in the adsorbing time; and (d) the operations of (a)-(c) are repeated more than once.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
