PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the diameter and weight of a cable by dispensing with a core wire for a power supply exclusive to the lighting drive of an LED from the core wires of the cable and to subject the LED to constant current control according to a set brightness to enable stable LED illumination over a long period of time. PSOLUTION: In the self-propelled type pipe inside inspection camera system constituted by connecting a self-propelled type pipe inside inspection camera device equipped with a camera unit having a self-propelled vehicle unit and an LED illumination part and a control unit for controlling the self-propelled type pipe inside inspection camera device by a long distance cable, an imaging part 21 and the camera power supply of an illumination part 22 are used in common to subject the LED of the illumination part 22 to constant current control according to the set brightness.
