PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coping structure in which the infiltration of rainwater into a coping having a ventilation structure can be prevented.;SOLUTION: The structure is constituted by installing the coping 6 to a parapet section, on which a venting layer 5 is mounted along a wall 3, through a coping metal fitting 7, securing a ventilation passage 9 communicating with the venting layer 5 between the coping 6 and the parapet section 1, fitting a ventilation member 10 in the ventilation passage 9 and setting up an on-off valve 12 capable of closing the ventilation passage 9 in the case of a strong wind to the ventilation member 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
