PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structured document retrieval device adapted to appropriately acquire and output a retrieval result.;SOLUTION: The device comprises a receiving part 101 for receiving input of a retrieval keyword; a retrieval part 102 for retrieving a structured document containing the received retrieval keyword from a document management device; a calculation part 106 for calculating statistic information related to appearance of a structural element that is a unit of a logical structure contained in the retrieved structured document; a generation part 113 for generating a feature vector based on the calculated statistic information; a structure extraction part 107 for selecting a structural element characterizing the structured document based on the feature vector, and extracting a similar partial structure that is a similar constituting element between retrieved structured documents from the selected structural element; a document extraction part 108 for extracting a partial document within the structured document corresponding to the extracted similar partial structure; and an output part 111 for outputting the extracted partial document for each structural element.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
