PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag filter for a dust collecting device which is separated and discretely provided with a cylindrical filter cloth body and a stop (snap ring), facilitates attachment, detachment and segregation, and enables recycling of the stop without choice of work sites and to provide a mounting method of the bag filter. PSOLUTION: The bag filter for the dust collecting device comprises the stop 2 which is a separate body and is easily attachable and detachable to and from a socket hole 3a of a bag holding plate 3 and the cylindrical filter cloth body F. The stop 2 takes on an annular shape and is made mountable and fixable to the socket hole 3a of the bag holding plate 3 and made easily detachable therefrom by using the elastic force of the stop 2 from the inner side of an opening edge 1a of the cylindrical filter cloth body F.
