PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring zirconium concentration stably and accurately without being influenced by the form of zirconium included in quartz.;SOLUTION: This zirconium analytical method in the quartz is characterized by adding sulfuric acid or the like to fluoronitric acid dissolved liquid of the quartz and heating the liquid, vaporizing silicon fluoride to acquire the dried state, adding a solvent to the dried product and heating the product, dissolving the produced melt in water, and measuring zirconium by using the dissolution liquid stabilized by adding sulfuric acid thereto.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
