PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce detection of a deviation of a reference frequency by either one of radio systems or effect of AFC control on the other radio system in a radio equipment such as a portable telephone set loaded with a plurality of radio systems sharing an oscillator. PSOLUTION: In the radio device loaded with a plurality of radio systems 1, 6 sharing the oscillator 2, AFC control for setting an initial value of the oscillator 2 is performed by an output from the main radio system 1. As to the calculation of AFC control quantity, a signal obtained by phase-rotating in a phase rotation portion 71 a receiving IQ signal of the main radio system 1 is demodulated by a demodulation part 72, results are calculated by normal phase rotation quantity and the reference frequency of the oscillator is controlled by the calculated control quantity. When the control quantity has an effect on the sub radio system 6, the control quantity is divided in each unit generating no effect by a plurality of times to control the reference frequency or after stopping only the sub radio system 6, AFC control is performed.
