SHARED BUFFER MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND SHARED BUFFER MANAGEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine usability with a simple structure and process regarding a shared buffer management device and management method to chain a plurality of unit regions corresponding to input data and form a data storage region.;SOLUTION: This shared buffer management device and method are to manage a shared buffer 1 to chain the plurality of unit regions and perform writing/reading of data. A management part 2 controls writing/reading of the data to/from the data storage regions FIFO1-FIFOn in which the plurality of unit regions of the shared buffer 1 are chained corresponding to the input data. A shared buffer failure detection part 3 compares a flag F of one bit or a plurality of bits corresponding to the unit region of the shared buffer 1 and a monitoring flag value updated for each predetermined period for each use of the unit region and when they are different, it updates and counts the flag F so that it may be identical to the monitoring flag value.
