PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage tube dwelling device for endoscopes which enables the easy and accurate adjustment of the sticking length of the guide wire ahead of the tip of the pusher on the hand side. PSOLUTION: A cylindrical cylinder 12 is mounted on the hand side part of the pusher 4 and an inner cylinder 15 which is so fitted into the cylindrical cylinder 12 as to make itself retreatably in the axial direction thereof is mounted on the hand side part of the guide wire 1. A pushbutton 18a to be returned to the standby position by an energizing means 18b is mounted as an engaging/disengaging means 18 while parts 15a, which are engaged by engaging parts 18c, to be linked to the pushbutton 18a only upon the depression of the pushbutton 18a, are provided apart axially at a plurality of points of the inner cylinder 15.
