PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for determining a physical constitution and strength which comprehensively evaluate a body fat ratio, BMI [body mass index] and fat/muscle distributions, graphically display the results of evaluations and enable the acquirement of brief understanding of the judgement as to whether or not the physical constitution and strength are sound, even without expert knowledge.;SOLUTION: The physical constitution and strength are determined on the basis of the body fat ratio, the BMI, a proportion age and a physical strength age. The proportion age is computed on the basis of the fat amount of the trunk part and that of the legs. The physical strength age is computed on the basis of the weight of the upper half of the body and the amount of the muscles of the legs.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
