PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow efficient inputting of data for generating a cable connection diagram. PSOLUTION: There are provided a means for storing a drawing information including a drawing position, a data inputting means for inputting stepwise data for generating a cable connection diagram, an output means for generating and displaying the draft information based on the inputted data and drawing information, and a draft editing means which allows editing of a displayed draft and extracts a new drawing information from the draft after editing for storing the drawing information. The terminal information of the switchboard is related, and stored, to the cable information to be used, so that kind, length, quantity of the cable to be arranged are automatically calculated, which is useful for design, production, test, investigation, etc. such as selecting of a cable to be used, arrangement of the cable, and investigation when an equipment is defective, based on the inputted data.
