PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frit with which the concentration of boron in a slip supernatant waste liquid can be easily controlled to a regulated value or below, and exhaust cost can be reduced.;SOLUTION: Regarding the opal cover coat frit for steel sheet enameling, the elution amount of boron into slip is reduced, and firing is performed at 760 to 860°C. The content of B₂O₃ in the frit is preferably 0.1 to 10 mol%. The content of SiO₂ in the frit is preferably controlled to 41 to 58 mol%, and the content of TiO₂ in the frit is preferably controlled to 15 to 21 mol%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
