PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for economically receiving digital broadcasting with high quality by means of the complementarity between broadcasting and communication.;SOLUTION: A digital broadcast transmitter for applying compression and other processing to broadcast program data to broadcast program data to generate broadcast data and allowing a broadcast radio wave transmission station to transmit the broadcast data as a broadcast radio wave includes a means for generating error correction redundant data for the broadcast data and transmitting the data as communication data for multicast to a communication network.
