PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy to be anodized which can present high durability, low staining properties and high productivity at the same time in a hot corrosive environment, and to provide an aluminum alloy member having an anodic oxide film.;SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy to be anodized comprises, by mass%, 0.1 to 2.0% Mg, 0.1 to 2.0% Si and 0.1 to 2.0% Mn as alloy contents, Fe, Cr and Cu each regulated to 0.03% or less, and the balance Al with unavoidable impurities. An alloy having more excellent durability is obtained by soaking an aluminum alloy ingot having the composition at a temperature higher than 550°C but 600°C or lower.
