SIDE-DITCH AND SIDE-DITCH CONSTRUCTION METHOD USING THE SIDE-DITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side-ditch and a side-ditch construction method using the side-ditch eliminating a clearance and level difference between a ditch body and a cover and the noise of vehicles going in and out on the side ditch cover, and reducing maintenance/repair cost without wear/damage caused by in-and-out of the vehicles.;SOLUTION: The portal side-ditch is opened downward, integrally formed with beams 8 at both longitudinal ends of the upper faces of both sidewalls, and has a first cover 4a of the same width as the side-ditch, disposed between both beams. One lateral end of each of the beams 8 and the first cover 4a is provided with a drain part 5a of predetermined height having a drain ditch 5. The drain ditch is provided with a plurality of water collecting through-holes 6 communicating with a passage 9 of the side-ditch, and the first cover 4a is disposed on the upper faces of both sidewalls 1a between both beams.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
