PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitating blade which is disposed in an agitation tank used in a beer-producing process to store a yeast slurry, can uniformly agitate and mix the whole yeast slurry in a short time without causing the mixing failure of the yeast slurry of non-Newton fluid, does not damage the yeast, and does not lower the biological activity of the yeast. PSOLUTION: The agitation tank for storing yeast slurry, for storing a part of the yeast slurry discharged from fermentation tanks where fermented foods such as beer are fermented and for returning the stored yeast slurry to the fermentation tank to reuse the yeast slurry, is characterized in that a tank body 1 is approximately cylindrically formed; a jacket for flowing a cooling medium for cooling the yeast slurry in the tank body is disposed on the periphery of the tank body; an agitating blade 5 composed of non-inclined perpendicular surfaces is provided; a maximum diameter of a rotation body defined by the rotation of the agitating blade is 60-90% of the inner diameter of the tank; and the height of the rotation body is 70% or more of a standard depth of the yeast slurry normally stored in the tank.
