PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method for measuring the concentration of unreacted calcium carbonate contained in the absorption liquid of a wet exhaust gas desulfurizer by a simple device, and to provide a measuring instrument.;SOLUTION: A measuring instrument of the concentration of calcium carbonate for use in a measuring method of the concentration of calcium carbonate for calculating the concentration of calcium carbonate in an absorbing liquid by reacting calcium carbonate contained in the absorbing liquid of the wet exhaust gas desulfurizer with an acid and measuring the amount of carbon dioxide is constituted.
