PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending stress measuring method which is simple and is capable of exactly measuring even a local stress, and a recording medium recorded with a program for performing the method, and a computer for performing the method.;SOLUTION: A separation distance from the surface of a fixed structure up to the position of a neutral axis is calculated (S2); by adding this value to an actually measured distance value acquired by an actually distance measuring process (S1), the length of the neutral axis is calculated by the use of an angle looked from a measurement reference position or the distance value of a measurement interval (S3); an initial position of the neutral axis in a state that external force does not act is calculated from a position corresponding to the total sum value of length values of the neutral axis and the magnitude of an initial curvature, to find a displacement quantity (S5); a variation in the curvature is found by differentiating the displacement quantity (S8); and a stress intensity is acquired by multiplying this variation by the elastic modulus of the fixed structure and its geometrical moment of inertia to calculate a bending moment, and dividing it by a section modulus (S10). Moreover, an external load is found from a relation in balance between force and moment at a minute part on the neutral axis (S12).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
