PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the dynamic characteristic of a material covering a large strain zone including breaking strain and to simulate the material covering the large strain zone including breaking strain in a large strain rate zone including high strain rate zone.;SOLUTION: A force detecting block type high-speed material testing machine is controlled so that tension, stop, and unloading of a test piece of the material are repeated at a quasi-static strain rate, true stress of the test piece every stop is calculated (S21), and true strain of the test piece every stop or unloading is calculated (S22). Counting values k1 and k2 of numerical expression (1) showing the true stress - true strain curve are calculated based on the calculated true stress and true strain (S25), strain amount εP is substituted into the numerical expression (1) including k1 and k2 and fluid stress σS corresponding to the amount εP is calculated (S25), and stress σ corresponding to the strain εP in the whole total strain zone and at an arbitrary strain rate is calculated by substitution of the fluid stress σS into the numerical expression (3) and employment of a parameter of the numerical expression (3) (S26).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
