PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase safety and working efficiency in mounting the second stage of a cross arm brace for protrusion in overhead cable work of a telephone line.;SOLUTION: A fastening hole 3 fixed the first stage of a cross arm brace 2a for protrusion are formed in the one end of pressure hardware for protrusion, and a fastening hole 6 fixed to the other end of the second stage of arm hardware 2b for protrusion are formed in the other end thereof. A notch 7 is formed which serves as a guide for mounting at the second stage of the arm hardware for the protrusion so as to be consecutively-mounted to the fastening hole 6 of the second stage of the arm hardware for protrusion. When the second stage of arm hardware 2b for protrusion is expanded, the positioning of bolting to the fastening hole 6 is performed so that the notch 7 may be as a guide to bolt the second stage of arm hardware 2b for protrusion to the fastening hole 6.
