PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel invert construction method which allows setting of a movable pier in a tunnel curved portion even if the entire length of the pier is extended, facilitates invert construction in the tunnel curved portion, and improves the rotational performance of the pier. PSOLUTION: The movable pier is constructed by rotatably arranging movable mechanisms 20 at the front and rear of a vehicle passage section 12, tiltably attaching vehicle guide stands 24 to the movable mechanisms 20, and arranging outriggers 26 at both front and rear ends of the vehicle passage section 12. According to the tunnel invert construction method, the vehicle guide stands 24 are made rotatable together with the movable mechanisms 20, by ascending/descending the out riggers 26 and rotating the movable mechanisms 20. Then the movable pier is set in a tunnel according to the tunnel shape, and an openable door 30 arranged in the pier is opened.
