PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance information collection program, a maintenance information collection method, information equipment and an external storage medium at low costs, which reduce possibility that maintenance information is not collected. PSOLUTION: In a step S830, a control part determines a program for which it is necessary to collect maintenance information corresponding to a program in which any failure is occurred from a collection object place management table stored in a storage part by a resident maintenance information collection program. In a step S840, the control part stores the maintenance information of the program for which it is necessary to collect the maintenance information determined by the step S830 in an external storage medium by the resident maintenance information collection program.
