This invention offers the transceiver and adaptation PAPR control method in order to make PAPR DECREASE. As for the sender, output value increasing with the increase of input value, the aforementioned multiple carrier peak of the signal which is modulated is restricted making use of the mapping function which is focused in the value which is decided beforehand. The receiver peak receives the signal which is restricted, reconstructs the peak of the signal making use of the dematsupingu function of mapping function, restores the data from the signal where peak is reconstructed by the multiple carrier modulation technique which is used. According to the adaptation PAPR control of this invention, as for the scaling factor, corresponding to subcarrier modulation technique, the variable setting for the above-mentioned mapping function and dematsupingu function is possible.
