PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely judge genuineness based upon a formed watermark as to a genuineness judgement sheet where a water mark as an object of genuineness judgement is formed, and a method and a system for judgement for the sheet. PSOLUTION: On the genuineness judgement sheet 12, a watermark 32 is formed by laser irradiation scanning of specified-interval and embedded information 35 related to machining elements (e.g. a laser scanning interval, a laser irradiation interval, a laser machining width, etc.) is constituted in laser non-irradiation parts and on a specified laser irradiation line 33 which is used for forming the watermark 32; and a collation area 32A specifying a processing element and an embedding area 32B where the embedded information 35 is embedded are specified according to imaging data to recognize the processing element in the collation area 32A and the embedded information 35 in the embedding area 32B. Thus, information on the related processing element is obtained and collated with information on other processing elements to judge whether the sheet is genuine. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
