PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recollections bank system which enables a user to efficiently produce an autobiography or a biography by performing edit processing of video image information in a simple classification system. PSOLUTION: The recollections bank system is provided with; an input means 2 for inputting information concerned with editing and production of autobiographies, biographies, personal histories, and group histories; a storage means 14 for storing multimedia information as a database; and a production control means 15 which stores the multimedia information in relation to simplified information of persons and groups when generating the database and reads out a selected person or group and relevant data from the database in the storage means 14 in accordance with contents of an instruction to produce a personal history or a group history and classifies them by a prescribed system and performs edit processing to generate personal history production data or group history production data wherein layout of photographic images is standardized.
