PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component shortage foretelling method wherein component shortage is not generated, productive efficiency is improved as compared with former, and further, working efficiency in an operator can be improved; and to provide a program for making a computer perform the component lacking foretelling method, component shortage foretelling apparatus, and a component mounting system.;SOLUTION: A component shortage foretelling determination portion 111 is arranged, order of performing component supplement is obtained considering component supplement condition and workability in component supplement work which were not considered at all in former, and component shortage is foretold in order of the component supplement. As a result, component supplement order can be decided with higher precision as compared with former, and occurrence of component shortage can be reduced as compared with former, so that improvement in productive efficiency and improvement of working efficiency in an operator can be realized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
