The throb type photo nick crystal wave guide which maintains the parity of guided wave mode. This wave guide includes the photo nick crystal layer which is inserted between two dielectric layers. The wave guide obstructs the conversion of parity state of the input mode which is introduced by maintaining symmetrical mode electric field distribution. Symmetrical mode electric field distribution is achieved through the change of permittivity of the dielectric layer which compensates the tendency of localization of the asymmetric mode which originates in the asymmetric periodic arrangement of the dielectric territory of the photo nick crystal inside layer.
