Systems, methods and apparatus are provided that combines a software application framework within a variety of consumer communication devices to provide enhanced functionality. The enhanced functionality devices can then be controlled and integrated into an Internet based application and delivery service, connected by various networking technologies including, e.g., broadband communication systems.
