PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire wheel maintenance device for an automobile capable of automatically carry out a series of measurement and control works requiring a time if a tire dealer carries out it at required accuracy in addition to assembling/disassembling of the tire wheel in a device for automatically maintaining the tire wheel of an automobile, that is, exchanging a tire or a wheel rim.;SOLUTION: The tire wheel maintenance device has a tire assembling/disassembling device provided with a rotatable rotation support part capable of supporting the wheel; a sensor means constituted so as to control both a position of the rotation support part and a load on the rotation support part; a urging locking means 6 for rigidly and integrally rotating the wheel to the rotation support part by acting on the wheel rim; a detection means 7 constituted so as to measure a size of the wheel rim; and a control processing means EC for executing a predetermined program.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
