PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new bus operating form evaluation method which analyzes the merits/demerits of a regular-route bus and demand bus and objectively evaluates the relationship between the scale of a city and the number of buses used for the operation and the method of a bus operating method, and also provide a bus operating form evaluation program and a computer-readable recording medium to which said program is recorded. PSOLUTION: A central processing means (1) finds the most adequate arrangement in a regular-line bus service by means of an approximation solution search method, the arrangement shortening an average time from a requirement-generated time to a requirement-achieved time to the minimum when one takes the bus from a place of departure to a destination point without a change of trains. In addition, the central processing means finds the most adequate demand arrangement in a demand bus operation under the same condition of profitability as the above one by means of the approximation solution search method, the arrangement shortening an average time from a requirement-generated time to a requirement-achieved time to the minimum in the case that one takes the bus from the place of departure to the destination point without a change of buses.
