PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly attach the tuning pin base to the Japanese harp so as not loosening over aging and causing troubles to tuning and playing. PSOLUTION: The string tuning pin base is pillar-shaped with a square cross-section 5 and its end surfaces face the front and back in the length direction. The surface to erect pins is a slope. The base is attached by directing the surface adjacent to the upper surface of the slope up, the surface facing the upper slope surface down, and the surface adjacent to the lower slope surface right, the surface facing the right slope surface left almost in parallel, and the front and rear surfaces to face the inner sides of the harp, the lower surface to face the inner side of the bottom plate of the harp, and the right surface to face the inner front side of the harp, the left surface in front of the stop plate, and the upper surface under the top end of the harp, then adhered by using an adhesive.
