PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate a travel result in a section while reflecting properly a traveling environment.;SOLUTION: An energy consumption efficiency value with an index about energy consumption efficiency in the section expressed by a numeral value is calculated using a section travel data as a travel data of a vehicle in the section determined by a time, a value of a travel environment variable expressing an environment factor affecting energy consumption is calculated in a travel road within the section, based on the section travel data, a probability density function or an accumulation distribution function corresponding to the calculated value of the travel environment variable is selected from the plurality of probability density functions or the plurality of accumulation distribution functions using the energy consumption efficiency value as a probability variable, and a section evaluation value for evaluating the travel result in the section, using the selected probability density function or accumulation distribution function, and the calculated energy consumption efficiency value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
