There is provided an effective and efficient, three step process for the manufacture of crop-selective, herbicidal 1-ä Ä2-(cyclopropylcarbonyl)-phenylÜsulfamoylü-3-(4,6-dialkoxy-2-pyrimidin yl)urea compounds, and intermediates for use therein.
