PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particulate dispersion that gives a coating liquid which does not become highly viscous when the coating liquid forms a coloring material-receiving layer for inkjet recording from the particulate dispersion by adding an aqueous resin to the same, a manufacturing process for the same and the coating liquid for the coloring material-receiving layer having a good coatability and filtrability.;SOLUTION: The particulate dispersion is prepared by preparing a preliminary dispersion containing fine particles and a cationic polymer, micronizing the preliminary dispersion and leaving for ≥ 5 hours at room temperature or heat-treating the preliminary dispersion and/or the micronized dispersion after preliminarily dispersion and/or micronization. The coating liquid is prepared by adding the aqueous polymer to the particulate dispersion. The manufacturing process for the particulate dispersion comprises a process in which the fine particles and the cationic polymer are preliminarily dispersed to prepare a the preliminary dispersion and the preliminary dispersion is micronized and leaving the dispersion after preliminarily dispersion and/or micronization for ≥ 5 hours at room temperature or heat-treating it at a temperature higher than room temperature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
