PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce physical distribution cost for stock replenishment.;SOLUTION: In this product distribution system, a product supply source device 12 is connected through a network 11, so that products are supplied from a supply source warehouse 2 having the product supply source device to a plurality of product supply target warehouses 3a, 3b,... linked with sale points dispersed in area. It is provided with supply target warehouse terminals 13a, 13b,... belonging to the supply target warehouses to notify shipment and sale achievement data for each month and each product, and the product supply source device to determine total product shortage quantity for each warehouse and each month based on predicted loss quantity for a prescribed month and on for every supply target warehouse terminal produced based on shipment achievement data for each month and each product in the past and a preliminary stock quantity before the month, determine physical distribution cost by combination of ton-vehicles for loading the total product shortage quantity for a plurality of months by front loading based on physical distribution arrangement cost for each ton vehicle, and determine more than one ton-vehicles to make the lowest physical distribution cost out of obtained physical distribution cost.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
