PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a manager to easily discriminate a database which is effectively used without individually checking the serviceability of whole information in each database.;SOLUTION: The history of the use circumstances of each database 11A and 11B including the history of retrieval by a retrieval server 14 is stored in a statistic/evaluation log database 16. A statistic/evaluation module 15 generates the statistical information of the use circumstances of each database 11A and 11B based on the history of the use circumstances of each database 11A and 11B stored in the statistic/evaluation log database 16. The statistic/evaluation module 15 evaluates the use circumstances of each database 11A ad 11B based on the statistical information of the use circumstances of each database 11A and 11B.
