PSOLUTION: The stereophonic acoustic signal coder 1 combines a plurality of acoustic signals to generate a stereophonic acoustic signal causing an acoustic effect with a stereophonic feeling in reproduction and codes the stereophonic acoustic signal. It comprises a filter analyzer 3 for analyzing the frequency component of the acoustic signal, an information generator 5 for generating acoustic signal-related information, a signal composer 7 for composing a stereophonic acoustic signal, a stereophonic acoustic signal bit allotment coder 9 for coding the stereophonic acoustic signal, a data coder 11 for coding sound source position data, a multiplexer 13 for multiplexing coded data and an output unit 15 for outputting multiplexed data formed into a stream.
