PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an all year cooling type air conditioner capable of preventing the occurrence of cavitation. PSOLUTION: This all year cooling type air conditioner comprises a steam compression type cooling cycle in which the inside of a room is cooled by making a refrigerant force-feeding means 11 inoperative and a compressor 5 operative and an indirect outside air cooling cycle in which the inside of the room is cooled by making the refrigerant force-feeding means 11 operative and the compressor 5 inoperative. Also, the air conditioner comprises a refrigerant flow rate metering means 15 metering the flow rate of liquid refrigerant fed from the refrigerant force-feeding means 11. During an operation by the indirect outside air cooling cycle, at least one of the input amount of the refrigerant force-feeding means 11, air volume of an indoor side air blower 2, air volume of an outdoor side air blower 9, and the valve opening of an expansion valve 16 is controlled to prevent the occurrence of cavitation.
