PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use encrypted data even when a copyright protection device is exchanged.;SOLUTION: This copyright protection system is provided with: a copyright protection device 50 for encrypting data whose copyright protection is necessary in the case of transferring the data through a PCI bus 10 to an MPU 67; a FLASHROM 55 installed in the copyright protection device 50 for storing an cryptographic key parameter as the origin of an cryptographic key when the copyright protection device 50 performs encryption; a BIOSROM 66 connected through the PCI bus 10 to the copyright protection device 50 for storing the cryptographic key parameter stored in the FLAHROM 55; and a decoding part configured of software for making the MPU 67 execute processing for generating the cryptographic key based on the cryptographic key parameter stored in the FLASHROM 55, and for decoding the encrypted data transferred from the copyright protection device 50 through the PCI bus 10 by using the generated cryptographic key.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
