PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax stress by surely removing the concentration of pipe-jacking stress generated on a pipe end face in a curve pipe-jacking section.;SOLUTION: In a ring-shaped spacer interposed to thrust transmission sections among the end faces of one pipes pipe-jacked along a curved passage in case of the laying of pipe line and the end faces of the other pipes, wall thicknesses in the axial direction are made different in thin wall sections 15 and thick wall sections 16, and two pairs of the thin wall sections 15 and the thick wall sections 16 are installed in pairs in the peripheries of ring bodies 14, using center points 17 in the circumferences of the ring bodies 14 as points of symmetry. In the ring-shaped spacer, a thrust is transmitted by the ring bodies 14 while the thick wall sections 16 held among the end faces of one pipes 1 and the end faces of the other pipes 1 are deformed compressively in the axial direction by a thrust when a curve pipe-jacking is conducted under the state that the thin wall sections 15 are held among the mutual end faces of the pipes 1 in the innermost section 4 of a curve, and inserting-port front ends can be brought into contact with the thin wall sections 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
