PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a L-valve type loop seal for a circulation fluidized bed incinerator, ensuring stable operation of an incinerator without increasing the size thereof.;SOLUTION: The L-valve type loop seal 9 for the circulation fluidized bed incinerator is formed in a L-shape ranging from a hollow rising portion 8a of the bottom of a downcomer 8 to a horizontal pipe 11 connected thereto for temporarily storing fluid medium moving down from a cyclone into the downcomer 8 to seal a fluid layer in a riser from the cyclone.
