PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the production of a remarkably improved spun plied yarn by improving spinning machinery, especially a ring spinning frame. ;SOLUTION: This spinning machinery comprises two roving bobbins 12 and a multistage drafting unit 13 and further a suction drum 25 arranged at an outlet of the multistage drafting unit 13 in order to densify a fiber strand. A twisted yarn is twisted in a ring spinning unit 17 subsequently to the suction drum 25. In this case, both dense fiber strands 22 formed in the suction drum 25 are joined at the back of a twist locking gap 16 and plied only by the one ring spinning unit 17.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
