PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a printing job capable of more efficiently performing the work in the case of preparing one booklet by plural printing jobs in a system for processing printing jobs prepared in a work station and sent through a network in a printer. SOLUTION: A group job is set by imparting a condition for constituting one booklet to two or more printing jobs in the WS(work station) of this system and the printing jobs within the group job are integrated and processed as a series of the jobs in the printer. In setting the group job to the plural jobs including the post processing of stapling or the like, the processing of checking and correcting the erroneous setting of a parameter set to each job is executed.
