PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for preparing reclaimed foamable styrenic resin particles having a narrow particle size distribution in high yield, reclaimed foamable styrenic resin particles and molded articles obtainable by foaming the same. SOLUTION: A process for preparing reclaimed foamable styrenic resin particles comprises dispersing styrenic resin particles obtainable by non- orientation melting and pulverization of shrink molded articles of foamable styrenic resins in an aqueous medium and impregnating the particles with a ready-to-volatilize blowing agent. In this instance, the non-oriented melt of a styrenic resin is extruded into a sheet by an extruder by providing a slit for the sheet-like styrenic resin before cooling and setting up. Molded articles can be obtained by subjecting the reclaimed foamable styrenic resin particles to foaming.
