PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high connecting rigidity to prevent the fall of a spring and thereby to heighten the reliability of a torsional vibration damping device in addition to combining high torque transmission and the diameter decrease of the device by reducing a space required for the outer periphery of the spring when connecting a drive plate and a side plate at the outer periphery.;SOLUTION: A spring storage part 6 for storing a spring 3 for connecting a hub plate 4 and a drive plate 5 in a relatively rotatable manner is formed by connecting a drive plate body 50 and a side plate 51. At this time, a plurality of axial protrusions 51g formed at the tip of a flange 51f formed at the outer periphery of the side plate 51 are engaged with cutout parts formed at the outer peripheral edge of the drive plate body 50, and connected by welding in the engaged state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
