PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use for a catalytically pyrolytic process of obtaining ethylene, propylene and butylene products as much as possible by cracking heavy oil or a residual feed raw material. ;SOLUTION: This catalyst is a specific class of pillared clay catalyst and the composition of the catalyst contains 30-75 wt.% pillared clay, 10-40 wt.% inorganic compound binder, 0-30 wt.% high silicon zeolite having a pentasil structure, Y-zeolite or their mixture, 0-10 wt.% modifying component and 0-50 wt.% clay of kaoline family as a matrix.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
