PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a plastic lens so as to obtain a plastic lens having a UV absorbing effect in an easy process and to provide a method of manufacturing a plastic lens so as to efficiently obtain effects of dyeing and absorbing UV rays when the lens is dyed. SOLUTION: A UV absorbent having subliming property and a plastic lens are disposed to face each other in a non-contact state. The UV absorbent is heated to sublime to be brought into contact with the plastic lens.
